Direct Support Professional
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) plays a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, fostering their independence and enhancing their quality of life. This position involves providing hands-on assistance in daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and community engagement. The DSP encourages individuals to achieve their personal goals and facilitates social interactions, helping them build meaningful relationships and develop life skills.
In addition to direct care responsibilities, the DSP acts as an advocate for clients, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard. This includes collaborating with family members and other professionals to implement individualized support plans. - Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma/GED
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- $17 - $19 an hour
